Abstract Biological models are usually described using difference equations.As a result, we are - in this work - interested in Acne Care studying a general difference model which includes two biological models as special cases.In detail, we study the qualitative behaviors (local and global stability, boundedness and periodicity character) of a general difference model.

Furthermore, we apply our general results to the population Conveyor Toasters model with two age classes and the flour beetle model.
